Sam Mayer posted a lap of 174.318 mph on Friday (Feb. 20) to claim the pole for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta.
Mayer bested JR Motorsports driver Carson Kvapil, who will roll off in second.
Taylor Gray took third in qualifying with Sheldon Creed taking fourth and William Sawalich completing the top five in fifth.
Rajah Caruth, Gio Ruggiero, Sammy Smith, Corey Day and Jesse Love qualified sixth through 10th, respectively.
Dawson Cram was the lone driver who failed to qualify for Saturday’s race in Atlanta.
