Kyle Larson has signed an extension to remain with Hendrick Motorsports through the 2031 NASCAR Cup Series season, the team announced Feb. 11.
“I’m incredibly grateful to continue my career with Hendrick Motorsports and HendrickCars.com,” Larson said in a release. “This team, this organization and this family have given me everything I need to compete at the highest level. We’ve accomplished a lot together, but I truly believe the best is still ahead. I’m grateful to Mr. Hendrick and JB for believing in me, and I’m excited to keep chasing wins and championships with Cliff and the 5 team for many more years.”
This comes after Larson’s 2025 championship campaign that saw him score three wins, 15 top fives and 22 top 10s.
Along with Larson’s extension, Hendrickcars.com also signed an extension of the same length to be the primary partner on the No. 5.

As we enter our company’s 50th anniversary year, racing has driven results and united our teammates in such a powerful way that extending our relationship with Kyle, Cliff, and this championship team was a no-brainer.”
Crew chief Cliff Daniels also signed a multi-year deal, but the length of the contract was not disclosed.
