Mini Tyrrell will compete full time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Kaulig Racing, Kaulig announced Feb. 6.
He won the RAM Race for the Seat championship to earn a spot in the No. 14 truck. Carson Ferguson finished runner up in the standings. Ferguson won $50,000 for winning the final race and will drive the No. 25 at Martinsville Speedway.
Tyrrell will join teammates Brenden Queen, Daniel Dye and Justin Haley full time.
Kaulig’s also fielding the No. 25 with a rotation of drivers, with Tony Stewart kicking things off at Daytona International Speedway.
Tyrrell won three Late Model stock car races last year in the zMAX CARS Tour Series.
The Virginia native was previously announced to drive at Daytona in the ARCA Menards Series with Cook Racing Technologies.
