Alpha Prime Co-Owner Caesar Bacarella Attempting Daytona with Team

Alpha Prime Racing co-owner Caesar Bacarella will attempt the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway, the team announced Wednesday (Jan. 28).

Bacarella will drive the No. 4, which was driven full-time by Parker Retzlaff last season, with sponsorship from Prime Bites Protein Rice Treats, according to a social media post from the team.

Bacarella co-owns APR with Tommy Joe Martins and ran four O’Reilly races in 2025 with the team — both Daytona races and both Talladega Superspeedway races — scoring a career-best finish of fifth at the fall Talladega race. The 50-year-old will serve as a teammate to APR’s full-time drivers Brennan Poole and Lavar Scott.

Daytona is currently the only race to be announced for both Bacarella and the No. 4 car.
