Jake Garcia Moving to ThorSport’s No. 98

Jake Garcia is back with ThorSport Racing for the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, albeit with a different team.

Garcia will pilot the No. 98 in 2026, ThorSport announced Jan. 14.

Quanta Services and Curb Records will sponsor the effort.

“I want to thank Duke, Rhonda and Allison Thorson for their trust and support as I continue with ThorSport Racing,” Garcia said in a team release. “A special thank you to Mike Curb for believing in me to carry on the legacy of the No. 98, as well as Quanta Services for standing behind this program.”

Garcia previously drove ThorSport’s No. 13. In 2025, his second full-time season with the team, he earned two top fives and 10 top 10s.

He’s the second driver announced to ThorSport for 2026, following Ty Majeski, who moves from the No. 98 to the No. 88.
