Mercedes Unveils Rolex 24 Driver Lineups

Mercedes-AMG revealed the driver lineups Wednesday (Dec. 3) for all five teams that will race the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Four of them are returning from 2025, while Winward Racing is introducing a new team to their fold.

At Daytona, Winward Racing will field two cars. The No. 57 in the GTD class will have minimal changes. Philip Ellis and Russell Ward will return to go after their third straight championship. They’ll be joined by Indy Dontje and Lucas Auer, veterans who have years of experience with the team.

For the first time, they will be joined by an entry in the GTD Pro class. That car, No. 48, will be shared by Jason Hart, Maxime Martin, Scott Noble and Luca Stolz. Martin and Stolz are Mercedes factory racers who have previous experience in WeatherTech. Martin only raced once in 2025 with GetSpeed Performance while Stolz was part-time with 75 Express.

Stolz will be excused from January’s ROAR Before the 24 due to a conflict. He will be racing in the Michelin 24H Dubai that weekend.

Hart and Noble will be making their debut in the GTD Pro class. The duo raced together this year in the European Le Mans Series, where they shared the JMW Motorsport Ferrari 296 GT3 with Gianmaria Bruni. They ultimately finished 18th in points with a best finish of sixth at Imola.

Hart spent 2025 racing in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, where he won the Pro-Am championship on the strength of three victories. His most recent WeatherTech start was the 2023 Rolex 24 at Daytona for MDK Motorsports.

The No. 48 team (pictured above) debuted during IMSA’s November test session at Daytona International Speedway. They were on pace right away, topping four of the five sessions that GT teams participated in. Martin had the fastest GTD Pro lap of the test at 119.606 mph.

“The Rolex 24 At Daytona is an absolute highlight at the start of the new racing calendar. Our Customer Racing Teams are entering the race with strong line-ups in the GTD Pro and GTD classes,” stated Stefan Wendl of Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing. “We have shown in recent years that the Mercedes-AMG GT3 is absolutely competitive at the Daytona International Speedway. Our goal is clear: we want to fight for victory again in the 24-hour race and also play a leading role in the IMSA championship in 2026. The chance of a hat-trick gives us additional motivation.”

75 Express (formerly SunEnergy1 Racing) will be back for another go-around. NTT IndyCar Series veteran Will Power is scheduled to make his IMSA debut with the team (this is a move that was supposed to happen in 2023, but he pulled out prior to the race). He’ll be joined by team owner Kenny Habul, recently crowned Repco Supercars Championship champion Chaz Mostert and Maro Engel.

Lone Star Racing is back for a Michelin Endurance Cup schedule. Scott Andrews will lead the team with Ralf Aron and Lin Hodenius returning. James Roe Jr. will complete the squad.

Finally, GetSpeed Performance will once again team up with the Bartone Bros. for a one-off effort. Anthony Bartone will share his Mercedes with Jules Gounon, Maximilian Goetz and Fabian Schiller.

In addition, two lineups for IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge were also revealed. Winward Racing’s Grand Sport entry will return unchanged from the end of 2025. Team owner Bryce Ward will share his Mercedes-AMG GT4 with Daan Arrow.

Finally, Murillo Racing will return to the series after sitting out the past two years. Team co-owner Kenny Murillo will share his Mercedes with Aurora Straus.
