Aric Almirola to Replace Justin Bonsignore in No. 19 at Phoenix

After winning the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ Focused Health 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Joe Gibbs Racing part-time driver Aric Almirola revealed he will replace Justin Bonsignore to compete in the series’ championship finale at Phoenix Raceway during the post-race press conference on Saturday (Oct. 11) evening.

The No. 19 is now locked into the owners’ points Championship 4 thanks to Almirola’s win in the Sin City.

Throughout the 2025 season, the JGR No. 19 has been ran by several different drivers such as Bonsignore and Almirola. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour racer Bonsignore was originally scheduled to run the finale in the Arizona desert.

Almirola has made 14 starts this season, putting together three wins and nine top 10’s. The former NASCAR Cup Series Veteran has won two of his last three starts in the Xfinity Series, winning recently at Bristol Motor Speedway as well.
