Justin Allgaier Earns Xfinity Series Pole at Las Vegas

After going out late in qualifying, Justin Allgaier took home the pole position for tonight’s (Oct. 11) NASCAR Xfinity Series’ Focused Health 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a speed of 179.063 mph.

He bested JR Motorsports teammate Connor Zilisch who went out last by less than a tenth of a second.

Joe Gibbs Racing swept row two with Kansas Speedway winner Brandon Jones claiming third and Aric Almirola alongside. Two Chevrolets start behind them, as Nick Sanchez rounds out the top five and playoff driver Jesse Love rolling off sixth.

Christian Eckes, Taylor Gray, Carson Kvapil and Sheldon Creed completed the top 10. Playoff drivers Sammy Smith and Sam Mayer have more work to do as they start 15th and 16th respectively.

Ryan Ellis and Parker Retzlaff will start from the rear of the field after mechanical issues prevented them from putting down a qualifying lap.
