Playoff drivers swept the top six starting positions, with Joe Gibbs Racing taking the top three spots. Hamlin’s teammate Chase Briscoe starts on the front row with Christopher Bell in tow.
Hendrick Motorsports swept the next three positions, with Chase Elliott, William Byron and Kyle Larson rolling off fourth, fifth and sixth respectively. Team Penske had more of a relative struggle, with Joey Logano starting ninth and Ryan Blaney 16th for tomorrow’s South Point 400.
