Trevor Bayne is back in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the Las Vegas Motor Speedway race for Sam Hunt Racing, SHR announced Sept. 19.
Bayne will drive the team’s part-time No. 24.
The start follows Bayne’s one-off NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series appearance last month, finishing fifth for TRICON Garage at Darlington Raceway.
Bayne’s most recent Xfinity races came in 2023 via three starts for Joe Gibbs Racing, including one top 10.
He has 164 total starts in the series since 2009, earning two wins, 30 top fives and 81 top 10s in that span. His last win came in 2013.
