It came down to the final driver, but Connor Zilisch earned his eighth-career pole after nipping fellow Chevy driver Nick Sanchez by .027 seconds on his run and at a speed of 136.633 mph.
William Sawalich, Sam Mayer and Taylor Gray took home the rest of the top five in that order. Harrison Burton, who currently sits on the playoff cutline, will roll off sixth with Aric Almirola and Carson Kvapil starting behind him.
Austin Hill and Christian Eckes make up the rest of the top 10.
All 38 cars who took time made the field for this evening’s race, where the playoff field will be set for the Xfinity Series.
Sheldon Creed and Taylor Gray each hold more than 60-point gaps to the cutline entering today, with Creed starting his race from outside the top 10. Jeb Burton, who sits 31 points behind Harrison Burton for the final playoff spot, rolls off 20th in tonight’s race.
