“I really didn’t feel like (we) were that good.”Heim said postrace “I was very inconsistent.”
“Obviously the 98 was the best truck and I’m sure he got damaged and it slowed him down. We’ve had some get away on us like that this year and this is one that kind of redeems that a little bit.”
“I don’t think we were phenomenal today by any means but we were definitely good enough to be there when it counted.”
Majeski’s dominant night came up short as he finished second after leading 143 laps.
Layne Riggs took third with Sammy Smith finishing in fourth, and Corey Lajoie rounded out the top five in fifth.
Jake Garcia finished seventh and stayed ahead of teammate Ben Rhodes to earn the final playoff transfer spot.

Majeski spent the first 18 laps behind Heim before overtook him for the race lead and pulled away. Majeski set a blistering pace the rest of the stage, lapping up to 12th as he claimed the opening stage.

Dawson Sutton brought the second caution for incident as he was stopped at the entrance of pit road. Many front-runners split their strategy with five lead lap trucks pitting for tires.
Heim and Riggs were two of the trucks to stay out as they led the field to green. Heim led for a couple of laps, but Majeski carved his way through traffic to retake the lead.
Majeski maintained the top spot to win the second stage as Garcia made his way to second, earning valuable stage points in his bid for the final playoff spot.
On the final stage restart, Majeski was put three wide by Kaden Honeycutt which allowed Heim to take the lead as they exited turn 2. Andres Perez spun behind the leaders, but no caution was thrown.
Majeski wouldn’t stay second for long as he drove by Heim to lead once again.
The race took a turn during green flag pit stops as Bayley Currey’s truck leaked fuel in turn 3. This caused Majeski’s ThorSport Racing teammate Matt Crafton to lose control and slide into Majeski in turns 3 and 4, sending both trucks sideways, causing a caution.

Smith benefited from Majeski’s spin as he restarted up front with Majeski alongside and Gio Ruggiero in third. Chaos ensued on the restart with Smith prevailing up front as Majeski was pushed up the racetrack.
Smith pulled away as Heim battled Ruggiero for second. With 20 to go, the field closed in on Smith with Heim taking the lead while Majeski and Riggs made their way past.
Majeski made his best effort in the final laps but wasn’t able to close in on Heim, who continues his dominant season.
