The zMAX CARS Tour is approaching its final stretch of the season as it preps for its 11th race of 2025, this time at South Carolina’s Anderson Speedway.
The series heads to Anderson Saturday, Aug. 16, for the first of two straight races in the Palmetto State.
This will mark the Tour’s second trip to Anderson, with Josh Berry besting Ty Gibbs in the first in 2017.
There are 27 entries for the Late Model Stock car field, so all cars should qualify barring any unexpected entries.
Riley Gentry will make his second start of the 2025 season, looking to repeat his top-10 success at North Wilkesboro Speedway in the family No. 09.
Ryan Howard makes his first appearance with the tour in 2025, driving the No. 7 for PRW Chassis.
NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. will make his second start of 2025 with the series. Earnhardt will drive the famous Budweiser Baseball car from his NASCAR Cup Series win at Daytona International Speedway in 2001.
South Carolina regular David Roberts is set for his first tour start of the season, driving his own No. 18.
Hometown driver William Meredith adds to the list of locals this weekend, driving his family-owned No. 36.
Taylor Satterfield will join the tour for his second start of 2025, driving the No. 40 for TS Racing.
Gary Greenwood joins Meredith as Anderson natives in the field, driving his own No. 88.
The No. 74 entry for Mitchell Mote Performance is listed with a driver to be announced in the coming days.
