Chris Buescher Driving Watkins Glen for ThorSport

Chris Buescher has never been in a truck in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, but all that will change this weekend.

Buescher will drive ThorSport Racing’s No. 66 at Watkins Glen International, the team announced Aug. 4.

FarmPaint.com is sponsoring the effort.

Despite a NASCAR career that stretches back to 2011, Buescher has never made a Truck start.

He’s the defending NASCAR Cup Series winner at Watkins Glen and has three top fives and 11 top 10 so far this season in the series, sitting 11th in points.

The No. 66 has featured a rotating roster of drivers this season, including Luke Fenhaus, Luke Baldwin, Johnny Sauter and Cam Waters. Baldwin also made his Truck debut this year.
