Jade Avedisian has joined Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series West, the team announced July 29.
Avedisian plans her ARCA debut at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds next month in the No. 25.
She’ll then return for the ARCA West event at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Yahoo will sponsor the effort at DuQuoin, followed by Mobil 1 at Vegas.
“Jade is a phenomenal talent with an impressive resume and a bright future,” Billy Venturini, team owner, said in a release. “We’re excited to give her the opportunity to further develop her skills on both dirt and pavement under the ARCA banner.”
“I’ve always dreamed of this opportunity to compete in the ARCA Series and measure myself against the success of other drivers,” Avedisian added. “Getting this chance to do it with Venturini Motorsports and Toyota is surreal.
“I grew up watching drivers like Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson, both with similar open wheel racing backgrounds. I feel dirt racers just hit different. There’s a lot more feel for the car, it really helps when transitioning over to a heavy stock car. The most important goal for me right now is gaining experience. It’s a stretch to think about walking into the series and winning but I have a lot of confidence in myself and will execute and focus on one race at a time.”
