Haas Factory Team’s Sam Mayer won the pole position for Saturday’s (July 26) NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
This marks Mayer’s first pole of the 2025 season and his third career pole position in the Xfinity Series.

Mayer completed his pole-winning lap in a time of 54.014 seconds around the famed 2.5-mile oval, hitting a top speed of 166.623 mph.
Rookie Nick Sanchez will share the front row with Mayer, claiming the runner-up starting spot on the grid. Mayer’s Haas Factory teammate Sheldon Creed, Jesse Love and Brandon Jones complete the top five.
Aric Almirola, Connor Zilisch, Justin Allgaier, William Sawalich and Carson Kvapil will start in positions sixth through 10th, respectively.
All 38 cars entered this weekend will race, meaning no drivers failed to qualify.
