Dollar Tree has extended its sponsorship of Legacy Motor Club in the NASCAR Cup series through 2028, the team announced July 10.
The brand began sponsoring the organization in 2024 under a multi-year deal.
This time, the sponsorship will run through 2028.
“Dollar Tree is a foundational partner to Legacy Motor Club,” Cal Wells III, the CEO of Legacy, said in a team release. “Their continued investment and commitment will enable us to execute our competitive vision and strengthens our ability to support championship aspirations.”
Legacy currently fields two full-time entries in the NASCAR Cup Series, with Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek behind the wheel. Dollar Tree has sponsored both entries this year.
In 2025, Nemechek has one top five and six top 10s in the No. 42, while Jones boasts two top fives and three top 10s in the No. 43.
Jake Altmayer joined the Frontstretch team in 2025, assisting as a news writer and contributing to other weekly columns and articles, such as Friday Faceoff and Xfinity Breakdown. A 2024 graduate of DePaul University, Altmayer has closely followed NASCAR's national series (Cup, Xfinity and Trucks) for nearly a decade and has attended more than a dozen races over the course of that time. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, spending time with his loved ones, and listening to his favorite band, the Beach Boys.
