After a jam-packed week in regard to court happenings a week ago, things were rather quiet in 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsport’s case vs. NASCAR this week. Here’s an overview of what happened:
- On Monday (June 30), IndyCar dismissed its challenge of IMS President Doug Boles being deposed in the case, and Boles will not be deposed.
- On Tuesday (July 1), court filings revealed that the NHL, which was previously subpoenaed in the case, highlighted the differences between itself and NASCAR, as well as the NBA and NFL in regards to providing sensitive financial information for the case.
A member of the National Motorsports Press Association (NMPA), Samuel also covers NASCAR for Yardbarker, Field Level Media, and Heavy Sports. He will attend the University of Arkansas in the fall of 2025.
