Corey Heim turned the fastest lap in Craftsman Truck Series qualifying Saturday (June 28) from Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, CT. Posting a speed of 100.175 mph, he earned the right to lead the field to green for the inaugural LiUNA 150.
Heim’s fifth pole of the season adds to his series-leading total. Road course ace Jordan Taylor will start alongside Heim on the front row in a spot start for Spire Motorsports.
Row two finds a pair of Fords in last week’s winner, Layne Riggs, and defending Truck Series champion Ty Majeski.
Brent Crews completes the top-five starters, running for TRICON in their No. 1 Toyota. Kaden Honeycutt will start alongside him in the sixth position.
Rajah Caruth will roll off seventh with Connor Mosack alongside in eighth.
Chandler Smith will start ninth while Andres Perez rounded out the top 10. Since only 35 trucks attempted to qualify, all made the grid for this afternoon’s race.
