Chase Briscoe turned the fastest lap in qualifying for the NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday (June 7). With a speed of 195.514 mph, Briscoe earned the right to lead the field to green for Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400.
Briscoe’s third-straight pole is his fourth this year and the sixth of his Cup career.
Kyle Busch will start alongside Briscoe on the front row, matching his best start of the season.
Denny Hamlin will roll off third alongside William Byron who starts fourth.
Kyle Larson completes the front five starters, while Chris Buescher starts sixth as the fastest Ford.
Row four finds Josh Berry inside and Ty Gibbs outside, starting seventh and eighth, respectively.
Bubba Wallace will start ninth and Zane Smith completes the top-10 starters.
