Carson Hocevar tied his career-best result in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway as he finished second to Ryan Blaney. However, his most controversial moment of the race came early in the second stage.
Hocevar made contact with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. heading into turn 3 shortly after a restart, and the No. 47 car went hard into the outside wall as a result. Stenhouse finished last, his first DNF of 2025. The HYAK Motorsports driver blamed Hocevar for the incident, while Hocevar said after the race that he “felt like he was there”.
Did Hocevar make a major mistake, or could it be chalked up to a racing incident?
