Conner Jones Penalized After CARS Tour Race at Langley

Conner Jones has been fined $500 and placed on probation through the end of the 2025 zMAX CARS Tour season, the series announced on June 3.

Jones must pay the fine before returning to series competition.

The penalty comes after Jones was involved in a post-race confrontation with Parker Eatmon following the race at Langley Speedway on May 31. The pair had traded paint several times in the waning laps and frustration boiled over in pit lane.

Jones told Frontstretch after the race that he tried to go talk to Eatmon and Eatmon grabbed him before words were said.

Eatmon ultimately finished eighth at Langley while Jones faded to 11th. Eatmon was not penalized for his role in the altercation.

The zMAX CARS Tour heads to Dominion Raceway on Saturday, June 14. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET on FloRacing.
