Rajah Caruth held off a fast-charging Corey Heim to claim his second career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory in the Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway on Friday (May 30).
Caruth’s No. 71 Spire Motorsports pit crew helped him gain the lead to start the final stage to claim his first win of 2025, clinching a playoff berth for the second straight season.

“I didn’t expect that at all,” said Caruth postrace. “[Heim and Riggs] were breathing down my neck the whole run. My pit crew won that race. (They) got us off pit road twice.
“We’ve been off this year, but it’s good to get it done tonight. I just tried my best, we had clean air, their stuff was better, but I just did my best. ”
Heim’s efforts came up short as he came home in second with Layne Riggs finishing right behind him in third. Daniel Hemric finished fourth with Corey Day earning his first career top five by placing fifth.
Heim took the early lead before a caution came as Frankie Muniz dumped fluid on the race track.

After an extended caution, Day took the top spot with a three-wide pass on Heim and Caruth. Day’s time up front was short-lived as Heim quickly regained the top spot with Riggs close behind.
Riggs hounded Heim for a couple of laps before taking the lead midway through the opening stage.

As Riggs caught lapped traffic, Heim closed in, giving the bumper to Riggs on the last lap of stage one. Riggs wasn’t deterred as he hung on to win the opening stage.
Caruth led the field to green after the stage caution ahead of Heim before the yellow flag came out after Jack Wood spun in turns 3 and 4. Akinori Ogata was also collected, receiving damage to the rear of his truck.

A restart followed with Heim emerging up front ahead of Caruth and Riggs. With 18 to go in stage two, Riggs passed Caruth, setting his sights on the leader Heim. Heim wouldn’t be challenged as he cruised to the stage two victory, his ninth stage win of 2025.
Caruth, who had another quick pit stop, restarted the final stage up front once again. Caruth took advantage on the restart, prevailing ahead of Heim.
Caruth maintained a lead over Heim in second and Riggs in third. With under 10 laps to go, Heim closed the gap to Caruth.
Heim hounded Caruth late, but his efforts came up short as Caruth captured the checkered flag for Spire Motorsports.
