Taylor Gray turned the fastest lap in NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying from Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday (May 24).
With a speed of 176.482 mph, Gray earned the right to lead the field to green for the BetMGM 300.
The pole marks the second of Gray’s career, both coming this season in the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.

Connor Zilisch will start alongside Gray on the front row in his return from a back injury.
A pair of Chevrolets make up row two, with Austin Hill starting third alongside William Byron in fourth. The third row finds the JGR Toyotas of Brandon Jones and William Sawalich, who will start fifth and sixth, respectively.
Ryan Sieg will start seventh alongside Sheldon Creed, who rolls off eighth. Chase Briscoe starts ninth ahead of defending series champion Justin Allgaier, who rounds out the top 10 starters.
Carson Ware and Dawson Cram failed to qualify.
