Kyle Larson turned the fastest lap in Cup Series qualifying from Kansas Speedway at a speed of 183.730 mph, earning the right to lead the field to green for Sunday’s (May 11) Advent Health 400.
The pole marks the 22nd of Larson’s career and his first of the season.
Chris Buescher will start alongside Larson on the front row.
Row two finds a pair of Toyotas in Christopher Bell and Tyler Reddick, who start third and fourth, respectively.
Last week’s winner Joey Logano rolls off fifth alongside Ty Gibbs, who will roll off sixth.
A pair of Chevrolets make up row four with William Byron in seventh and Daniel Suarez in eighth.
Chase Elliott will start ninth, while Ryan Blaney completes the top ten starters.
