Christopher Bell earned the right to lead the NASCAR Xfinity Series field to green from Darlington Raceway on Saturday (April 5) after setting the fastest time in qualifying with a speed of 164.408 mph.
It is Bell’s 14th career Xfinity Series pole and his second at Darlington.
Former Darlington winner Brandon Jones will start alongside his teammate on the front row, while last year’s Spring Darlington winner, Justin Allgaier, will start third.
Taylor Gray will roll off fourth and Sam Mayer completes the top five.
Carson Kvapil will start sixth ahead of Daniel Dye in seventh and Chase Elliott in eighth. Christian Eckes will start ninth while Sheldon Creed rounds out the top-10 starters.
With 40 entrants competing for only 38 spots, unfortunately, Austin Green and Dawson Cram did not qualify for this afternoon’s race.
