Kyle Busch, Chase Briscoe’s Teams Incur Suspensions After Las Vegas

Penalties were issued Wednesday (March 19) after the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Craftsman Truck series races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Two pit crew members each from Kyle Busch’s No. 8 Richard Childress Racing team and Chase Briscoe’s No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing incurred suspensions after wheels got loose on the track.

No. 8’s jackman Dylan Moser and rear-tire changer Shiloh Windsor are suspended the next two Cup races. Additionally, No. 19 team’s jackman Caleb Dirks and rear-tire changer Daniel Smith were hit with the same penalty.

Other penalties issued included fines for loose lug nuts in both Xfinity and Trucks.

In Xfinity, Kaulig Racing’s No. 11, JGR’s No. 19, Sam Hunt Racing’s No 26 and JR Motorsports’ No. 88 were all fined $5,000 each for the infraction.

The No. 07 Spire Motorsports truck team was fined $2,500 for a loose lug nut.

Josiah Wright, who was a rear-tire changer for RFK Racing’s No. 6, and Corbin Skinner, previously with GK Racing and Mike Harmon Racing, are indefinitely suspended for violating the Substance Abuse Policy.
