Brent Crews, Treyten Lapcevich Among Post-Phoenix ARCA Penalties

Brent Crews, who won last weekend’s ARCA Menards Series race at Phoenix Raceway, headlines ARCA’s penalty report for March 12.

According to ARCA, Crews was fined $1,000 and placed on probation for the rest of the 2025 season for a violation of the series’ personal safety equipment section of its rulebook.

According to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass, Crews did not have a head sock or helmet skirt during the race, which are required.

Crews scored his first ARCA victory of the 2025 season at Phoenix with a last-lap pass for the lead.

Additionally, Venturini Motorsports crew chief Ron Otto was fined $1,500 in addition to being placed on probation for the remainder of the season, while No. 15 driver Treyten Lapcevich and car owner Bill Venturini lost six championship points.

The No. 15’s penalty stems from a violation of the rulebook pertaining to maximum rear axle housing camber.

Lapcevich came home in third in his ARCA debut.
