Ryan Blaney, Austin Cindric Earn Penske Front Row Sweep at Atlanta

Ryan Blaney will lead the field to the green flag after winning the pole award for Sunday’s (Feb. 23) Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

It is Blaney’s 11th career pole position in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Joining Blaney on the front row is Team Penske teammate Austin Cindric, as Ford claimed nine of the top 10 starting positions for Sunday. The difference between Blaney and Cindric for the pole was two-thousandths of a second.

Team Penske affiliate driver Josh Berry of Wood Brothers Racing ran third quickest time, followed by defending Cup champion Joey Logano‘s No. 22 in fourth.

Todd Gilliland, Kyle Busch (fastest Chevrolet driver), Zane Smith, Chris Buescher, Brad Keselowski and Noah Gragson rounded out the top 10, respectively.

The Toyota camp as an organization struggled in qualifying — Bubba Wallace‘s 14th-place lap was the best any of Toyota’s nine drivers.

As only 39 drivers were entered in the race for 40 spots, there was no one who failed to qualify.
