Ben Rhodes will kick off the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season as the pole sitter for the Fresh from Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway, posting a lap of 176.487 miles per hour during qualifying on Feb. 14 (Friday).
Rhodes will share the front row with his ThorSport Racing teammate and defending series champion Ty Majeski. It’s Rhodes’ sixth career pole and first since 2018.
Corey Heim will start third, Grant Enfinger fourth and Jake Garcia rounded out the top five. Chandler Smith, Dawson Sutton, Kaden Honeycutt, Clay Greenfield and Johnny Sauter make up the rest of the top 10 in sixth through 10th, respectively. Sauter did not turn a lap during the final round of qualifying.
Tyler Ankrum had his time disallowed for passing the designated break checkpoint on pit road prior to his lap. He will start 35th.
Stewart Friesen was not allowed to make an attempt after officials ruled his No. 52 Toyota did not pass inspection. Friesen had already failed pre-race tech inspection twice and had his truck chief ejected. He will start 36th, alongside Ankrum in the last row.
Bryan Dauzat and Justin Carroll failed to qualify for the 36-truck field.
