Daniel Hemric will lead the ARCA Menards Series West field to the green flag for Saturday’s (Jan. 25) season opener at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway.
Driving the No. 19 Chevrolet for his new NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team Bill McAnally Racing [McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in Trucks], Hemric won the pole after posting the fastest time in practice.
Hemric will be making his second career West start. In his lone start thus far, he finished second in the 2019 race at Sonoma Raceway.
Driving the No. 13 Central Coast Racing Toyota, Tanner Reif will roll off second. Tanner succeeds his younger brother Tyler Reif in the No. 13 CCR ride.
Row two will consist of full-time drivers Kyle Keller and Trevor Huddleston in third and fourth, followed by fellow full-timer Eric Johnson Jr. in fifth.
Robbie Kennealy, Adrian Ferrer, Spencer Davis, Gavin Ray and Blake Lothian round out the top 10 in sixth through 10th place, respectively.
With only 12 drivers entered, all will compete in the 150-lap race. There will be a competition caution around lap 75 of the race.
