Spire, Workforce Announce Multiyear Sponsorship

Spire Motorsports’ NASCAR entries will be sponsored by Workforce in what’s been announced as a multiyear partnership, the team revealed Jan. 21.

Workforce will adorn Michael McDowell‘s No. 71 in the NASCAR Cup Series in three races in 2025, starting at the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium.

In addition to associate sponsorship, Workforce will then sponsor the No. 71 at Phoenix Raceway in the winter and at Richmond Raceway this summer.

“I am thankful to have Workforce onboard with us this season and I look forward to kicking off this new partnership at the Clash,” McDowell said in a team release. “It’s an exciting time for the sport, especially to be able to race at Bowman Gray Stadium to start the year.

“I’m really looking forward to representing the Workforce team. Workforce aims to make sure that any injuries at the workplace are managed as efficiently as possible and, of course, you never want to see anyone get hurt at work. But if it does happen, Workforce eliminates so much unnecessary stress. I am looking forward to having them at the track as they celebrate their 30th anniversary.”

McDowell concurrently joins Spire for his first season with the team in 2025. In 2024, while with Front Row Motorsports, McDowell scored two top fives and seven top 10s.
