Corey Day will compete in the ARCA Menards Series in three races for Pinnacle Racing Group, his sponsor, HendrickCars.com, announced July 24.
Day debuts this week at Salem Speedway, followed by events at Bristol Motor Speedway and Kansas Speedway.
He is expected to rotate between the Nos. 28 and 82 for the team, as at Bristol and Kansas in particular, the team will field the No. 28 for its full-time ARCA Menards Series East driver, Connor Zilisch.
Day, 18, normally races on dirt in sprint cars.
In 2024, Pinnacle boasts four main-series ARCA wins between Zilisch and Connor Mosack despite competing part time. It’s also won four of the six ARCA East races, all via Zilisch.
