Tristan Vautier Back in IndyCar at Detroit

Tristan Vautier will return to the NTT IndyCar Series at the Detroit Grand Prix, driving the No. 51 for Dale Coyne Racing with Rick Ware Racing, Coyne announced May 29.

Vautier is the fifth driver to be announced for the No. 51 in 2024 through six races, following Colin Braun, Nolan Siegel, Katherine Legge and Luca Ghiotto.

It’s the first time back in the series for former full-timer Vautier since 2017. He ran full time in 2013 and competed part time for Coyne in 2015 and ’17.

His best finish came in 2017 at Detroit, finishing fourth.
