NASCAR Mailbox: Kyle Larson Proved Coca-Cola 600 Isn’t a Crown Jewel, But at What Cost?

Kyle Larson wanted to complete the 1100 miles of racing with the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. Larson said in an interview that his main focus was the NTT IndyCar Series race. Rain caused the Indy 500 to be delayed, therefore delaying Larson’s trip to Charlotte. Should Larson get a playoff waiver for missing this race?

Also, NASCAR called the race after the track couldn’t dry fast enough. Why wasn’t the race called sooner?
