Jake Finch Running ARCA Daytona Race

Jake Finch will pilot the No. 20 Toyota for Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series 2024 season opener at Daytona International Speedway, he told Frontstretch at the Snowball Derby on Dec. 3.

Phoenix Construction will sponsor Finch in his superspeedway debut.

“I know we’ll be doing some ARCA races starting off with Daytona and excited to go there with the Venturini guys,” he said. “Hopefully, we can get the No. 20 back to victory lane there at Daytona and get the Phoenix bird back into victory lane at Daytona. Excited for that.”

Finch has made eight starts with VMS, including an ARCA Menards Series East win at Dover Motor Speedway in 2023.

VMS’ No. 20 won both the 2023 ARCA drivers and owners championships with Jesse Love.

Overall, Finch has 21 starts in the ARCA series, scoring one win, seven top fives and 18 top 10s. Additionally, he finished sixth in the 2022 East points.

The 18-year-old wouldn’t divulge whether he will contest the full ARCA schedule, only commenting, “Yeah we got some things in the works and I think that’ll all be released soon.”

The 2024 ARCA race at Daytona will take place on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 1:30 p.m. ET with TV coverage provided by FOX Sports 1.
