The checkered flag has waved on NASCAR’s diamond anniversary at Phoenix Raceway. The 75th season of the NASCAR Cup Series started in February with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. winning the Daytona 500, and it ended in November when Ryan Blaney finished best of the Championship 4 to win his first title.
The twists and turns of the season, which saw 15 different winners, featured drama and so many storylines, from a brand new race on the Chicago street course, to racing on a track that laid mostly in abandon for over 25 years. With 38 weekends of racing, only a handful of moments will remain engrained in the minds of race fans as the 2023 season rests in the record books.
