Riley Herbst grabbed the third spot with a 128.972 mph run. Justin Allgaier was fourth — and third fastest of the championship-eligible drivers — with a best lap of 128.949 mph.
Sammy Smith, who won at Phoenix earlier this year, rounded out the top five.
Jeb Burton, Brandon Jones, Josh Berry, Sheldon Creed and Sam Mayer rounded out the top 10, Mayer as the slowest Championship 4 driver.
There were no major incidents during the session apart from a brief red flag with just under 17 minutes remaining after JJ Yeley‘s No. 08 hit the wall. He went into the garage following the incident and was ranked in 26th by the end of the session.
