Cole Custer Returning to SHR Xfinity Team

Cole Custer will return to Stewart-Haas Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024, SHR announced Nov. 2.

Custer will continue to drive the No. 00 Ford for a second consecutive season and fifth in his Xfinity career.

After returning to the series following three full-time seasons at SHR’s Cup program, Custer has recorded two wins, 13 top fives and 20 top 10s this season.

In his Xfinity career, Custer has racked up 12 wins, 54 top fives and 95 top 10s in 142 starts, earning a best points finish of second on two occasions (2018 and 2019).

The Ladera Ranch, Calif., native qualified for the Championship 4 and will compete for his first Xfinity title at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 4. It is the third time Custer has made the championship round of the playoffs.

He joins Riley Herbst, who will also return to the SHR Xfinity team in 2024.

Additionally, Glover enjoys working in ministry, coaching basketball, playing sports, and karting.
