Custom Patch Hats has partnered with MBM Motorsports to sponsor its No. 66 Ford entry in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL, MBM announced Oct. 2.
Sage Karam will pilot the ride, attempting his 12th start of the season.
“The ROVAL is an exciting race and I am beyond excited to show what we can do,” Karam said in a team release. “It is exciting to welcome a new partner to the sport and help Custom Patch Hats not only grow their customer base but with MBM Motorsports.”
In 11 starts this season, Karam has one top five and one top 10 finish, with a fourth-place finish at Road America accounting for both.
The ROVAL will be his third start with MBM in 2023 and second in a row, following an appearance in the No. 66 at Texas Motor Speedway. The ROVAL was initially announced as part of his schedule with Alpha Prime Racing for the season.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series race is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
