The NASCAR Xfinity Series begins its playoffs at Texas Motor Speedway for the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300.
There are 40 cars entered, so two teams will fail to qualify, barring any entry list changes.
Garrett Smithley returns to the No. 4 JD Motorsports Chevrolet, his first race since Kansas Speedway. Smithley replaces Kyle Weatherman, who returns to the DGM No. 91 Chevrolet.
For SS-Green Light Racing, Houston native David Starr makes his return to the Xfinity Series in the No. 07 Chevrolet He will attempt his first start since the summer Atlanta Motor Speedway race. The No. 08 will be piloted by NASCAR veteran JJ Yeley.
Layne Riggs attempts his Xfinity debut with Kaulig Racing in the No. 11 Chevrolet.
RSS Racing No. 28 features CJ McLaughlin, while Kyle Sieg, who raced the No. 28 last week, moves to the No. 29
Emerling Gase Racing has both owners in its cars this weekend. The No. 35 Chevrolet has Joey Gase taking over for BJ McLeod, while Patrick Emerling moves to the No. 53.
Alpha Prime Racing debuts Daniel Dye in the Xfinity Series this week, the start of a multi-race deal to finish the season. Dye enters in the No. 44 Chevrolet for APR.
MBM Motorsports tabs Sage Karam to drive the No. 66 Ford this weekend, taking over the seat from Timmy Hill.
CHK Racing returns to the field this week with Dawson Cram piloting the No. 74 Chevrolet.

The green flag will fly for the Xfinity Series at Texas Sept. 23 at 3:30 p.m. ET. Coverage will be provided by USA Network.
