Daniel Dye will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Texas Motor Speedway with Alpha Prime Racing, per Dye’s partners website.
He’ll drive the No. 44 at Texas as well as Las Vegas Motor Speedway, per the website.
Dye confirmed the news Sunday (Sept. 17) and revealed he’ll also race at Phoenix Raceway. Champion Container will be the primary sponsor.
He teased of the announcement on his Facebook page.
Dye currently competes for GMS Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He earned a best finish of 11th at World Wide Technology Raceway.
In the ARCA Menards Series, Dye claimed his lone victory at Berlin Raceway in 2021.
GMS Racing announced in August that it would cease operations after the 2023 season.
Dye has not announced his 2024 racing plans.
Frontstretch reached out to team co-owner Tommy Joe Martins for comment. Martins said: “I think there’s something planned for (Sunday). We’re all excited.”
