Tyler Carpenter is back with Niece Motorsports for the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt race in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Niece announced March 10.
Carpenter debuted for the team last year at Knoxville Speedway, finishing 36th after a driveshaft issue.
Precision Vehicle Logistics, AutoVentive and Worldwide Express will step up to sponsor Carpenter in his Chevrolet Silverado.
“I’m really excited for another opportunity to get back behind the wheel of one of these trucks,” Carpenter said in a team release. “I learned a lot about these trucks last season and definitely feel like we have something to prove this year.”
The No. 41 has been driven by Travis Pastrana and Ross Chastain so far in 2023. Pastrana finished 13th at Daytona International Speedway and Chastain was 24th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Chad Chastain and Bayley Currey will also join Carpenter in the truck this year.
The Weather Guard Truck Race on Dirt will take place April 8 at 8 p.m. ET. FOX Sports 1 will broadcast.
