Ryan Ellis Returning to Alpha Prime in 2023

Ryan Ellis will return to Alpha Prime Racing in 2023 and drive in at least 15 NASCAR Xfinity Series races, Ellis tells Jayski.

His primary sponsor, Keen Parts, will also return in 2023.

Ellis’ schedule of races has not been announced, but according to Jayski, APR is hoping to get him in one of its cars at Daytona International Speedway to start the year.

Ellis has made 10 starts for the team this season, with his best finish being 13th in his debut with the team at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He’s entered for APR this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

“With Ellis, he’s one of the most reliable veterans in the entire series,” Tommy Joe Martins, team co-owner, told Jayski. “To have him back next year is going to give us a little stability that we haven’t had this year.”

In APR’s maiden season, its best finish so far has come at the hands of Sage Karam, who finished fifth in this year’s Wawa 250 at Daytona.
