John Hunter Nemechek on Pole for Truck Race at IRP

Frontstretch’s Truck Series content is presented by American Trucks

John Hunter Nemechek won the pole for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park Friday (July 29).

Nemechek went 111.188 mph to claim his sixth career Truck pole and fifth of the season.

Chandler Smith slots next to Nemechek on the front row, while Christian Eckes and Corey Heim make up the second row. Grant Enfinger, who was fastest in practice, rounds out the top five.

Ty Majeski, Carson Hocevar, Stewart Friesen, Ben Rhodes and Derek Kraus complete the top 10.

Two playoff competitors are starting outside the top 10: Matt Crafton (16th) and Zane Smith (23rd).

The TSport 200 airs Friday at 9 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
