Ross Chastain will return the No. 92 car of DGM Racing for next Saturday’s (July 30) NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, the team announced July 22.
Chastain previously drove for the team earlier this year at Circuit of the Americas in March. In that race, Chastain gave the team one of its best performances as he started second and led 14 laps until a late spin let him with a 17th-place finish after running in the top five all day.
The sponsor and paint scheme of the entry will be announced at a later time, but the team gave a preview of an overhead shot of the car.
In 39 starts this season, the Mario Gosselin-owned team has recorded five top-10 finishes, with a best result of sixth at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March with Mason Massey.
Chastain’s teammates at the track will include Alex Labbe in the No. 36 and Mason Filippi in the No. 90. The driver for the No. 91 has not yet been announced.
