Nick Leitz to Attempt Truck Series Debut with Reaume Brothers

Nick Leitz has become the latest driver to join the driver list of Reaume Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The 26-year-old will attempt to make his NASCAR debut when the series heads to Nashville Superspeedway this weekend, the team announced on June 21.

“I’m so excited about racing the trucks especially making my first start at Nashville; that place looks bad fast,” Leitz said in the team release. “Also having my family and friends there and many people back home watching it on TV will be a lot of fun as well as a big learning experience! I’m excited what next year holds as well and see if we can continue this momentum and excitement forward!”

Leitz is a fourth-generation racer with decades of racing pedigree in his background, competing in various forms of motorsport. The Virginian grew up racing go-karts, legends cars, and more recently late models in the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series.

“Nick has an extensive resumé with a significant amount of late model experience,” team owner Josh Reaume said. “We are looking forward to watching him develop in the top tiers of NASCAR for years to come.”

Leitz will make his Truck Series attempt in the No. 43 Chevrolet on Friday, June 24 at Nashville. The truck team is currently listed 36th in owner standings.
