Julia Landauer Attempting Xfinity Debut at New Hampshire

Julia Landauer is the latest addition to Alpha Prime Racing’s driver lineup, the NASCAR Xfinity Series organization announced June 14.

Landauer, who became the first woman to win the Skip Barber Racing championship and first female NASCAR track champion at Motor Mile Speedway in 2015, will attempt her Xfinity Series debut at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the team’s No. 45 entry on July 16.

“We’ve been trying to get Julia in our racecar all year long,” APR co-owner Tommy Joe Martins said in a team release. “Ever since her days in a NASCAR West car, I felt like she deserved an opportunity at this level. I am really glad we were able to put it all together and give her a shot here at Alpha Prime.”
