The NASCAR Cup Series visited World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway for the very first time on Sunday (June 5) and proceeded to put on an entertaining race, as well as one of the most contentious in quite some time.

Tempers flared between Denny Hamlin and Ross Chastain, Chastain and Chase Elliott, Hamlin and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and more pairs of drivers, leading to on- and off-track confrontation, while amidst the chaos, some solid racing led to an overtime finish.
