Ferris Mowers will be Ty Dillon‘s primary sponsor for three NASCAR Cup Series races in 2022, along with serving as an associate sponsor throughout the season for Petty GMS Motorsports, the team announced May 5.
The company will sponsor Dillon beginning at the All-Star Open at Texas Motor Speedway on May 22. It will also sponsor Dillon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on July 31 and Michigan International Speedway on Aug. 7.
In addition, Ferris will serve as an associate sponsor on Dillon’s No. 42 for the rest of the 2022 season, as well as six races on teammate Erik Jones‘ No. 43.
“I’m excited to have Ferris join Petty GMS and be on our No. 42 Chevrolet for the remainder of the season,” Dillon said in a team release. “Carrying their colors during the three primary races is going to be cool. Ferris sets themselves apart by helping professional landscapers work hard and feel good, which I appreciate. I look forward to getting behind the wheel of the Ferris Chevrolet at Texas in a couple weeks.”
Ferris Mowers is a brand of the Briggs & Stratton company. Their fellow brand, Vanguard, will be highlighted during Ferris’ three primary races.
“NASCAR and Petty GMS provide a great platform for us to reach our customer base,” Christin Wam, senior director of marketing at Briggs & Stratton, said. “The longevity, culture, and tradition align with what Ferris, Vanguard, and our dealers stand for. We are excited to have the No. 42 car, driven by Ty Dillon, sporting the Ferris badge at the All-Star Race, Indianapolis, and Michigan races this season.”
